Question about Microlife 3MQ1 Blood Pressure Monitor

Open Question

Blood pressure pump runs constantly

Once monitor is turned on the pump run continuously without stopping. Basically the pump will not shut off and therefore BP can't be taken. Is there a fix? It doesn't act like there is a leak some where.

SOURCE: what does error 3 on my microlife blood pressure monitor

Repeat measurement keeping arm still. If inflation of the cuff takes too long, the cuff is not correctly seated or the hose connection's not tight. Check connections and repeat

I have installed a brushless constant pressure water pump that keeps coming on constantly... is that a problem for this kind of pump? is that a potential issue?

Motors like to run. It is the starting and stopping that puts the most wear and tear on motors. In order to maintain a constant pressure, the pump must always run.

Omron BP760 will not stop pumping up

Does it continue to get tighter as it pumps? If not, it would seem that you have a leak somewhere.
If it does continue to tighten, then there is something wrong with the pressure sensor in the device - it's probably time to replace it.

Pumps up to 80 but stops

Have you tested the "bladder" for leaks? Sounds like there is a leak and once the pressure reaches 80 it can't hold any more air. If you have the receipt, take it back to the store where you purchased it and ask for a refund or for an exchange.

The check valve is bad. When the system builds up pressure and shuts off the check valve prevents water from dropping back down the well line. When the check valve goes bad water drops back down the well line and siphons water back out of the well tank causing the switch to kick on and off constantly. The check valve will between on the well line coming from the drop pipe. It may be making a constant rattling noise as pump is running. Replace the check valve and you should be fine. Also check the pressure in bladder tank it should be 2psi below the "cut-in" pressure for the switch.

"Start" Button turns off vital signs monitor

Even if it is plugged in it will not operate correctly without a good battery. When the pump starts to take a blood pressure it draws a lot of power and this forces it to shut off. You should replace the battery and let it charge 12 hours and you should be in business.

The fuel pump on my 1988 crown victoria runs constantly when the engine is running and pump is very noisy. When i turn the key on, the pump runs then stopps but runs constantly when engine is running. Why?

The fuel pump is supposed to run constantly when the engine is running. It is pumping fuel to the engine which is in constant need of fuel. It is starting when the ignition is turned on and then shuts down after a few seconds if you do not start the engine. This is exactly what it is supposed to do. You have no problem except for the pump being noisy. On a car that is 22 years old, I would suspect the fuel pump is failing and the noise you hear is it's death nil. Change the fuel filter and if the noise continues be prepared to have the pump replaced. It may fail suddenly or it may become hard to start. If you have never had it replaced just go ahead and do so, to prevent being stranded and a towing fee when it does fail.

You have a defective pressure switch. But replacing the switch. Do the following; Open the pressure switch cover, and find the two adjusting nuts. One is for the cut-off pressure (40psi) and the other is for the cut-in pressure (20 psi). Adjust the the nut with a longer stem counter clockwise (loose) with the pump running. Take care not to touch the power line attach
to it. Continue the adjustment until the pump stops,
at 40 psi. Then, observe - Pump must stop once the
pressure is attained. Then, open the valve until it
start (20psi).. Then you can adjust the other nut to
cut in at 20 psi.
To prime the pump; open and fill the priming port full
with water.and replace the priming port plug. Set
the water flow control valve at full close position.
Switch the power on to run the pump and slowly
open the control valve to appropriate setting such
that the pump doesn't lost the suction. Send your e-
mail for further comment. God bless u
