Question about GE 29871GE3 Digital Answering Machine
I have lost the manual and need to retrieve messages from another phone.
If you have not changed the code, it should be set to the default code 1-2-3. Call the phone with the answering machine, and as soon as your greeting starts press 123. You will then hear a menu. Press 1 to retrieve your messages. After listening to your messages, you can listen to the menu again, which will tell you that you can press 0 to delete your messages, among other choices. Cathy

As a Expert that is not going to happen once these messages are deleted there gone for good, Even a data recovery center would not be able to help unless it was store on a magnetic tape of some sort.
What you got in this machine is NV-RAM Non voltile RAM random access memory. Meaning once the unit looses power or messages where deleted that area can no linger be accessed.
Hate to be the bad news breaker here makes me feel bad. But please show you support and leave a postive feedback and rating for your free answer today.
