Fair warning, this response may be a dead end & be a waste of time. I can only refer you. In attempting to find a fix to your problem I did a little research. I am not sure that what I am telling you is even allowed on this site. On YouTube, type in ' Connect stereo to earbuds on BMW1200LT'. there is a vid showing stereo install. It may help. Sorry, I am a hardwire tech not a wireless guy.
Hey, this might be too late to help you, but I figured I'd share in case anyone else came across this while looking for help (as I did).
There's a small inner ring that the edge of the foam ear pads wraps around, but you can't really fit it under there while it's attached to the earpiece. The solution? I used something thin (specifically a nail file) to remove this "ring". It actually seems designed to pop on and off. I was then able to easily wrap the foam ear pad around the ring, then re-attach the ring to the rest of the earpiece.
Hope that helps!
Motorola Bluetooth Stereo Gateway DC800 is used as Motorola Bluetooth Home Stereo Transceiver By streaming music to your the Bluetooth Stereo Headphones, the Bluetooth Home Stereo Adapter turns audio devices such as home stereos and MP3 players into wireless music systems. Just plug the DC800 into your home stereo or MP3 player with an included RCA cable or 3.5mm cable and you are ready to go. You can even hook up to your RCA capable TV!
put the music player on and press down on the jogwheel, select 'Play Via' and change it to Bluetooth stereo headset. It'll prompt you to open the swivel and take you to the bluetooth devices screen where you select the correct device, it'll then prompt you to close the swivel and will start playing through your headphones :-) Is that what you mean?... It's a bit of a pain really :-(
