That problem is the Ysus board, Sometimes people will replace the Zboard at the same time. If you bought it at costco a couple of years ago you are in luck costco will refund your purchase price, costco has changed the return policy and newer tv's are not refunded, but something to look into

SOURCE: I have a vizio vw32L40a and the screen is too

6/09 I had the same problem when receiving the signal over the air with the input set to TV. Perhaps the signal strength or type was varying. At any rate, after I hooked up HD cable and watch from that input, the problem no longer occurs.

I had the same problem, but it looked like my son pressed the view mode button on the remote. I set it back to Dot by Dot and it looks perfect again. Try it out.

SOURCE: vizio 320m. I set it up wrong. Instead of choosing

You should be able to use the input/source function on your remote to select which signal sources you want the TV to display, find out which input on the TV you have the cable box hook it up to then just select that input. Do you still have the user manual?

Vizio e370vl turns on then powers off

This unit has infra red detector for remote. You may be getting IR from another source in the room (eg: bad light bulb or light reflecting off window pane). Also if you use the JAG Wheel on side of set, instead try the remote - the JAG Wheel may be the problem (dirty switch or damaged).

THE SET SMELLS, LIKE AN OILY ODOR. I THOUGHT IT WAS BURNIN BUT I HAVE HAD THE SET FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS. IS THIS A PROBLEMS.

I would keep an eye on it and contact VIZIO right away, I would not leave the TV plugged in when you you leave the house just in case it catch on fire.
Should have it check out under warranty, just tell them you will sue if it burns down the house to get the attention from VIZIO, make sure to keep ALL the records of the contats you make with VIZIO.

Please leave rating if it helps.

Have new E370VL hooked up to Dish Network via coax. The picture jumps/blips? Connections are tight. Help.

This can happen when there is radio interference near the coaxial cables. Sometimes the interference is behind walls. The solution is to try a different combination of modulation and channel than what the DISH receiver is current set.

The DISH menu screen for this setting is Menu-6-1-5. With dual-tuner receivers, typically "TV 1 Out" is the TV that is connected in the same room as the receiver is located. "TV 2 Out" is the tuner that is fed to the remote TV via backfed coaxial signal.

All that needs to be done is to change the channel and mode going to the effected TV to something different. If your channel/mode is currently set to Air/60, try changing it to Cable/73. When you change the mode/channel in the DISH receiver, you need to set the remote TV to the same mode and channel.

Keep in mind that with some TV companies like VIZIO, they call their "Air" mode "Antenna". With VIZIO's the TV must be set on TV input and then go into the Menu to the Settings, Tuner Settings. Change mode type to match what you are trying on the DISH receiver, exit the VIZIO menu and manually enter the channel number.

Eventually with trial and error, you will find a mode/channel combination that isn't effected by your particular environmental interference.

Busted screen on a vizio e370vl is it fixable

I wasnt able to locate the panel part number. There were 2 different ones used in your set based on the serial number. But I have never ever seen a panel that was cheaper than the purchase price of a new tv. I hate giving out bad news.. Sorry Most places that sell salvage parts for tv's like ShopJimmy.com never have the LCD screens because thats what always is broken making them salvage..

Vizio GV42LHDTV - No video inputs

my 42 also went black, and the "vizio" logo in front indicates as if it is turned on, it clicks on and off, but just has no output on the screen, meaning not a black screen, just a dead, no image, even when the system has clicked on

I tried turning off, on, unplugging, letting it sit (kind of like a reboot wishful thinking), removed all connections in back, (nothing still, not even the blue screen) just nothing.

What a shame, I had the unit less than 6 months, and now this? I have work to do, and I can't get it done.
