Question about Nixon The Newton Watch

Open Question

The light on my newton works, but the hands( or dots as they are seen as on the watch) have stopped working? any help? thanks

It was working one day, then i put it down as i went to sleep. as i woke up the next day, i put the watch on, but it must have stopped at about 3:30 am as thats the time it stayed at all morning. i tried to move it to see if it gets started, but whatever time i move it to it stays at that time. the light still works, and i treat my watch good. i dont get it wet, i dont drop it or sleep with it on.

The illumination button on my Newton is jammed and I can't get it to light up

mcdevito75 Here, The button may be jammed on the inside of the watch, the tab the button rests on inside the watch may have slipped, in this case the back of the watch must be removed then see the tab and affected button. Best Bet, look for a small watch repair shop in your area have them do this job. Unless your very familiar with watches you can easily destroy your watch even with too much hand or finger pressure, let a shop check it out for you.

I was given a Tissot Seastar and I know nothing about it or if it's worth fixing. It has a 17 jewel automatic movement which works fine.It also has the day and date. The movement number is 14190996 and the...

If it is the eta 2824-2 model. When you say the hands don't turn, I take it it does not work? its an automatic so needs wrist/ hand movement to wind the rotor. You can manually wind the watch by simply turning the crown (without pulling the crown out) Try doing this first.

How to get casio sea-pathfinder working after replacing batteries

This certainly put me on the right track, but i found on my pathfinder mod 2271 that the four brass dots located down in the hole were unacessable with standard flat head tweezers so I inserted a small sewing needle and touched one of the brass dots while bridgeing the distance from the needle to the positive (+) surface of one of the four batteries with tweezer legs.
