These controllers will cut the heater out soon as you turn on the blower or aux, this is to prevent overload of current/controller meltdown.

Pull the cover off the control panel. You will probably find a button which would be accessible from outside the panel with a paper clip or pencil but is unlabeled. On the board itself by the button, in small letters it should say "reset". Push the button and see what happens.

An error code will come up if the sensors in the unit detect no water flow, or over temperature. Now this might be the actual problem or the sensors or circuit board may be faulty. First check the pump is circulating the water, if it still errors then the fault is in the electronics.

You need to check your temp sensor and your high limit. Both are tubes that slide into the plumbing on or near your heater. If this is a tube heater then they are probally at on each end of the heater and will have small wires coming from them that go back to the control board. Farely common problem and easy enough to fix with replaceing them both. A number of models wire them together so they come as one part. Good luck.
