MORE TNEN LIKELY IF THE STANDBY LITE IS ON THEN THAT MEANS YOUR PICTURE TUBE WENT OUT ... YOU CAN TELL IF THIS IS THE PROBLEM BY LISTENING TO IT ONCE YOU TURN IT ON .. IF IT CLICKS ON THEN POWERS OFF SHORTLY AFTER THEN YUP YOUR TUBE IS BURNT OUT ... IT RANGES FROM $350.00 ON UP

Hi i have a pilips 42" plasma tv (42PF5320/79) i can hear clicking the green light is on and the tv will go into stand by if i press the power button and the red light also comes on .I have turned it on and off and it works now nothing just the light on the front as if its working looking at the back through the slots two green lights come on then the tv clicks and they turn off,thanks
I am having the same problem. If I play with the power button on the back it will come on sometimes. I was looking for a solution here but looks like I will have to take it apart and check for loose solder joints.
