You need to find out if you are getting voltage to motherboard may be a bad jack if you do not have the tools bring to a repair shop

The blue light was the only thing turning on after powering up my AH531. Sometimes the fan would kick on and off. But nothing else would come on, no hard drive sound and no screen.
End up the RAM was bad. Took out the 8GB, replaced it with 2GB i had, and it worked perfectly. Put the 8GB back in and it wouldnt work.

Sure, on EBay. A search by using the terms Fujitsu Lifebook Laptop in that order and should get you the most results. Click here to go to the results page. That I came up with doing just that. Make sure you have a reputable seller and ask them questions of some sort to see if they easily speak with you in a friendly fruitful manner. If they don't I wouldn't buy from them.
Those are great laptops and there are plenty of them in use.
Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

Switching the wireless components on/off - that's Fn+F5 - according to the Operating Manual for Lifebook AH531

Turn on as you did before and leave on for 10 minutes. Then, try turning OFF the computer by keeoing the POWER button pressed for 7 secons. If the computer goes off, then your screen is fried and the computer is actually booting up normally... you just can't see it ;)

It could be the inverter that runs the back light.
Have a look around maybe on Ebay, it's cheaper than a another new screen. Take yours out of the laptop and look for any names or numbers on it to make sure you get the correct one.
