Blue screen of death on my HP Pavilion g7-1219wm notebook pc

I don't know much about laptops or computers but my laptop recently crashed and went to a blue screen. After researching i found out it is called a blue screen of death. It restarted on its own to fast for me to read what the error was. Is there anyway to fix it or should i take it to the people that repair and fix these kind of problems?

A BSOD (blue screen of death) is a general failure warning and in itself is not serious unless it continues to happen. If that is the case, you will need to read and write down the message that appears to be able to get further help.

SOURCE: my hp pavilion g7 series laptop is messing up? it says my ati display driver keeps messing up.

1.Start the laptop up in safe mode with networking by pressing the f8 button while switching it on at the power switch.
2 Once in safe mode remove the ati drivers.
3. Download Eusing free registry cleaner install it and clean your registry.
4. Download new drivers from Ati and install them.
hopefully this should do the trick. if the problem still exist then it could be a sign that your graphic chip is failing,.

My HP probook 4530s is bringing a blue screen when powered.....what can I do pls.

This is often caused by sectors on your hard drive going bad which have critical operating system files on them required for the system to boot up. Another cause is your memory might now be bad. Pay close attention to the text on he blue screen, commonly referred to as the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). My recommendation is to use a utility from Steve Gibson at Gibson Research, it's very inexpensive and if the hard drive is recoverable, his tool will bring it back to life. If his utility finds a bad sector on the drive, it'll move that data to a good sector and render the system usable again. This utility can take several hours but it's worth the wait. You're only other option is to reinstall the operating system using the F3 option, or as a fresh install but please, please make sure you have your data backed up. If you don't know how to do this then I'd recommend taking it to a service professional, or a friend that knows computers. If the data isn't important, or you know it's backed up then go for it. Here's the link to Gibson's site and the tool is called SpinRite: I've been using his tools for over 30 years.

It could be that you are installing the wrong driver update.
Scan your computer with RadarSync to get the correct driver and you can use the same software to install the updates.

Just go to to read more about the software.

Hp laptop freezes and the screen goes blue with a crashdown message

If you haven't done anything to it recently, the most likely culprits are: 1) an infection (virus, trojan, malware, etc.) 2) Failing hard drive, or 3) faulty memory. Unless you know how to diagnose and correct these problems yourself, you are going to need professional help. If it's still under warranty, call the manufacturer. If not, find someone you know near you that knows computer HARDWARE, or a local shop.

Dell latitude e5510 laptop got blue screen saying that a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer but it wont do anything ele's help any one

have you made any changes before the blue screen appear? installing a driver maybe? if you have, try to undone those changes by booting with Startup with last known good configuration (undo recent registry and driver change),use System Restore,or Roll Back device driver,Scan your computer for viruses
and Return BIOS settings to their default levels,go to BIOS by pressing F2 or del exactly after you press the power button and the screen show up
if it still in blue screen, that's probably that some of your system file is missing, and you need to reinstall your operating system
Please let me know if it's working or not,i don't like to abandon anyone, and thanks for using fixya

Your OS software may be corrupted. Did you try reloading the machine with your recovery software? If that does not do it, then the problem may lie with the motherboard or one of your peripherals.

first try to restore them in a previous date, if not done then go to safe mode and uninstall the software/game which you have installed recently. if all not done then you have to reinstall OS (assuming VGA/Graphic is in gud condition as this can also happen due to display card/driver faliure)
