Question about Flat Panel Televisions
The TV is 7 1/2 years old. When turned on, the screen is split in half with 5,6 rows of colorful vertical lines on either side. At first it took 2-3 minutes to "warm up" and the picture was normal, except for a few flashes that would continue a couple more minutes. Now the process is up to 30 minutes and climbing. In the 30 min., the two sides will have these colorful, vertical rows, and at other times show a snowy picture and at other times be a totally black screen, and then eventually a normal picture, but not at the same time. The rows of lines will come and go seemingly at random flipping from one side to the other. One side will show snow and the other colorful lines. Then the full picture finally appears the TV will flicker a few minutes longer and then it acts totally normal
Put a towel across the top of the tv so it can heat up faster and you will get your picture. be carefull!!
