You need to make sure the ballast matches the type of flur tube you are using. get the number from the ballast and go to an electrical supply house to match the flur with that balllast. The ballast is located inside the fixture. it is a step up transformer (although primary voltage to ballast can be 120 volts the voltage will be as high as 600 volts on secondary side of the ballast, This voltage is not forgiving) so make sure the breaker in the electrica panel that supplies power to that fixture has been turned off before you open the fixture to get the identification numbert. Safety first and Good luck.
Google that model number with ballast or lamp ballast to locate the part and its number. Usually the color wheel will not operate if ballast is not working---Lamp comes on and stays on the Ballast is good.
the hood and reach down into the engine bay for the fog light assembly.
If you cannot reach the fog light assembly from the top you may need to
get underneath the truck to reach it. Remove the electrical plug
running to the fog light ballast.
Remove the bulb. Unlock the fog light bulb by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it straight out of the assembly.
a new bulb into the fog light assembly. The part number you will need

Turn the bulb clockwise to lock it into the fog light housing.

The ballast is located on the bottom inside wall where the compressor is located. Its usaually mounted, and can be easily removed and replaced. The ballast is rectangular in shape and has a few wires protruding from each end. To replace simply dismount the bad ballast and clip the wires. Match the ballast to a new one, reattach the wires using wire nuts, and remount ballast.
Unless you have specific software to play the .hgl files (you could do an internet search for "hgl player"+"audio" to try and find a standalone .hgl player if you want to try this route) then you'll need the program Converter 1.4 that comes on the CD shipped with the product. This software is a program that decodes the compressed recording file (the .hgl) and converts it into a .wav file that can be played using most any PC media player; from there, you can listen to it or recode it as an .mp3 or whatever you want to do with it.
Hope that helps.
