SOURCE: NEC vt460 Projector have a ghost problem on the screen

Hello

Pls Service the LCD Panels of the Projector, Also check the Fly-Eye lens, just next to Lamp unit. This will solve your problem. if it's not then the only solution is Replacement of LCD Panels, But Must check or replace the external RGB Cable first befor doing all this exercise.

Sounds like one of those problems only cureable with expert knowledge of for example Chroma feed , Lcd function , lamp luminence, not to be a killjoy but it sounds like this is one for the engineers an estimate should be free and even if you dont have it fixed you'll know whats wrong if you want to do it yourself providing you have adequate training of course .... Your best option is using the COMPONENT IN input of the projector (Y, Cb, Cr). Though the highest video signal the projector will support is 1080i.

You tried three notebooks, but did they have the same video adapters? Try a notebook with a different video adapter. i would say your video adapter isn't good enough to put out a dual display. you might need to get a laptop with a better video card

Projection up side down

The NP2000, like most projector, can be set for table top, or ceiling mount, and front or rear projection. It sounds like you have a problem with the mounting orientation.
  1. Open the Basic menu.
  2. Select "Setup"
  3. Select "Installation" tab.
  4. Select "Orientation"
  5. Select the orientation that best meets your situation. The choices are Desktop front, Desktop Rear, Ceiling front, and Ceiling rear.
You can download the manual here.

Two projectors controled by one computer and one is fuzzier.

This is only a theory: Assuming that this setup is in an office, there is a high probability that the lighting is fluorescent. This type of illumination is NOTORIOUS for causing AC interference with video signals. It is hard to suppress because there are AC lines *all around* acting like antennas. If you use shielded video feeds, make sure all circuits are properly grounded(and *isolated* in extreme cases) to minimize EFI. (electrical frequency interference) The fact that 2 projectors are connected to a single computer lends credence to an interference problem--grounding is usually the culprit--not the computer, but all the junk connected to the ground wires--fans, lights, air-conditioning motors, refrigerators, you name it...You might want to check into getting a power conditioner or filter to "clean up" the electricity in that particular room. Video and audio signals are delicate--just turn up the sound loud, with nothing being broadcast, and listen to the AC hum in the static. Those are my thoughts anyway...hope I was useful!---rick
