Sorry to post such an inane question, but how do you set the clock on an LG microwave? It could be the clock on mine's not working. It resolutely stays on whatever time it's set to, colon pulsing, and won't tick over to the next minute. Thus it's always 7:10 !
After setting the time push the clock button again and it should start working after a minute passes (on some models you have to hit the start button after setting thr time!

The MS-1446SQP is the version of this microwave sold in Mexico. To set the clock, press the button labeled Parrar/Borrar (Stop/Clear on English microwaves) in case any cooking programs are running. Then press the button with the clock face (Reloj). Then press the touch pad labeled Inicio/Inicio Rapido (Start/Fast Start). Type in the 4 digits of the current time (24 hour format). Then press Inicio again. (Note: I have left off the accents.)
The manual for the LG MS-1446SQP is available here: http://www.lg.com/mx/soporte-producto/lg-MS-1446SQP . The directions for setting the clock are on page 12 (pictures of the control pad are included). This is the Spanish version of the manual and is a pdf. Thus you will need Adobe Reader or a similar program to read the manual.
Hello there Jerry Sorry it took so long getting back to you i just finished moving into my new home and just got my internet today ok ill send you a troubleshooting steps However this error code usually turn out to be a problem with the controle panel of the microwave and the only fix for these is to replace the part ok i will post the rest of the troubleshooting steps in a following comment ok Best regards Mike
After spending 25 minutes on hold while LG try to find out how their own product sets the clock, I now know that the LG MS1949G Microwave open does NOT have the ability to set a clock that shows the time of day.
Unplug the oven and wait 3 minutes then plugit back in and check to see that it operates normally. Do not run the oven empty - place a cup of water in it. Let me know if this helps and thank you for using FixYa!
