  • Make sure all the component video cables are properly plugged in,
  • perhaps you may have mistaken one of the inputs for video as the audio connector (red one) also
  • if you're using a VGA cable, sometimes the pins come a little loose, and the the connector needs
  • to be reseated and jiggled until you get the full colored output signal. (rare, unless it is disconnected and reconnected a lot.)
I hope This Helps. Just Double check the inputs and makes sure everything is hooked up correctly.
This same result happened to me when I tried to connect my component cable to the back of my tv with out looking back there to make sure I did it right.

All of a sudden all my red colors are faded and almost show grey like it was in black and white or something. All the other colors seem to be fine. What's up?

You have beging signs of yellow light of death and will need to reflow the cpu and gpu with a hot air gun. Cpu and gpu are inside bolted to the radiator. You will have to break the ps3 down to just the motherboard and will also need some new thermal compound paste.

Bought new componant cables for new tv and the wii will not play in color. tryed moving cables around still no luck the different combo's that i tried either switched every thing to all red or all blue!...

Make sure the colors line up.
Red-Red
Green-Green
Blue-blue

If the tv has a second componant input then test it in that input.
What model tv are you pluging it into?
Did the wii work on the old cable?

Cannot open the disk and cannot read the disk as well. The green light at the center of the ring always blinking

Hello
If you only get a flashing green light on the center while you turn on the console. You should get a green light going in a circle around the center light, (the 4 other lights, that can turn red as well (famous Red Ring of death))
if you don't get any red or green lights around the flashing center ring, then the console is not able to turn on / boot up properly and is in need of repairs, check the powersupply led, what color is it? it should be green when you power on and orange when not in use.

Picture is distorted

IF your TV has a magic focus button on it that might help. And a good way to fix the red rings issue is when you get them you have to unplug your console for a day and replug it in and everything should be fine, atleast that is was my friend told me.

PSP 6 pin gen 2 cable not working on tv?

you have the wrong cable. the cable you have is for HDTV's only.
by the ports on the TV, you have a standard TV.

The cable's colors are Red, Blue, Green, Red, and White. If you have a HDTV or these ports on the back of the TV, connect them like in the picture.

from what you said, it seems like your TV's port colors are Yellow, Red and White. If you only have these ports on the back (Yellow, red, white), you need this cable:

Playstation 3 color fades

Try If switching tv will resolve the problem.Your unit work with 2 main concept...Tv and Ps3 .If you try your machine in a different tv and you don`t have any problem is something wrong with the tv you are using.Ps3 for my acknowledge..doesn`t have any chip controlling the color on it.The unit have a video processor but not Chrome processor. The tv have all the color feature etc,.
Good Luck

Video probs

Which cable are you using? Are you using the component cable? Have you accidentally switched the red/green/blue somehow? Or may someone have played a trick on you, rearranging them?

Also check PAL/NTSC settings and capabilities on the 360 and your TV.
