Hi there. FIrst of all be sure the water lever is above all of the jets for it to work properly. REgarding the jet where the water does not come out properly i am not sure what that means. BUT, the jet is adjustable so turn it and see if that fixes the problem. good luck.

Aquaglass whirlpool tub

Does you tub have the air system installed? If so you may have the air system advanced function. There are two types of air system advanced functions.
  1. With water level detector: A 30 second Drying cycle Will automatically start 20 minutes after the control has detected there is no more water remaining in the tub.
  2. With out water level detector: A 30 second Drying cycle Will automatically start 20 minutes after the complete stop of the blower.
If you have the first type this may be normal or the water level sensor may be dirty or faulty.
If you have the second type it may be a control board problem.
. Hope this helps.

American standard jet bath tub black particles coming out of jets

The problem you are experiencing is common to many jetted bathtubs. It is a result of dried bathing water in the tub. There are a couple of solutions to resolve this ongoing problem.
  1. Use your tub more frequently as the water will not have time to fester in the pipes.
  2. Use a cleaning solution made for cleaning the pipes on jetted bathtubs once every three months.

How do you clean the jets in a whirlpool tub? Is there any product to put in water and run jets to clean them?

Put white vinegar in the water and run it through your tub. Fill the tub to it's maximum running capacity, which is normally just above the jets, and pour a gallon of vinegar in the water with it. Let it run with the vinegar for about 20 minutes, then turn it off and let the vinegar sit in the jets for about 30 minutes. Then start up the jets again for about another 10 minutes and drain. Then run plan water through the jets for about 15 minutes, drain and that should do it. I would recommend doing this at least once every 2 months depending on your water type and how often you use the tub.

Particles come out of jets

Are the particles like white chunks? If yes, I was told to get calcium and lime remover and add it to the water and let the tub run for 30 minutes. Once this is done, drain and then refill tub and run for another 30 minutes to get the lime and calcium remover out of the system. This should help.

Went to the pool store and they had a cleaner you add to the water and then run the unit for about 20 minutes then drain . It seem to work pretty good and there was less hassel taking the jets apart

I have a brand new walk-in tub with whirlpool and air jet. It has air switches for both features. My problem is that the air pump comes on all by itself after sitting for 20-30 minutes of non use. It does...

This is known as the purge cycle, it is very normal. It is to blow out any remaining water from the air jets. If it was to allow water to stand in the pipes, it would start to smell and grow algae, which would then clog the small air holes, nothing to be alarmed about.

Due to your tub setting for a long period of time, you have a simple air lock in the jet hoses.
Find the pump - locate the jet farthest from the pump and using a funnel slowly pour water in that jet until water starts coming out of the other jets.
Turn you tub on it should work fine. If this does not solve your problem you may have to loosen the top hose at the pump and allow the air to escape while being replaced by the water you are pouring in

Jets stuf off on their own after about 20 - 30 minutes

This is normal for jets on hot tubs/whirlpools for the jets to shut off after 20 minutes. This is a safety feature to prevent overheating of the water. When jets are running, the hot tubs are constantly heating and can elevate to dangerously high temperatures excess of 110 degrees causing scalds that you would not even know are happening. Your body temperature acclimates to the climbing temps and you dont realize it is that hot. It also helps prevent you from falling asleep and not paying attention to the temps in the tubs. Sorry, but I think you are going to have to restart the jets after each cycle. It is a safety feature that can't be bypassed or circumvented. Good luck and happy tubbing

Spa / hot tub does not heat

Your temperature control is way out of calibration or, it's wired wrong. Remove it and check it in a glass of water. Use an ohm meter across the heater wires. As you add hot wwater, the heater contacts should open.
