You don't need a "professional" to solve this problem or even to order any parts. E1 -F2- = the keytail (connector ribbon) that plugs into the control board is not making good contact. first unplug your range and then remove the two screws on the underside of the back-splash controls panel to access the back of the control board. now simply cut a slip of heavy paper such as a business card to the width of the ribbon and slide it into the slot along with the ribbon connector. that will help press the contacts on the other side together snuggly. screw the back-splash back in place, plug in your range, and the problem will vanish. if the error ever returns, try pulling out the connector, cleaning the contacts with a pencil eraser (see - http://www.fixyourboard.com/techzone/ovens/keypad_tail_clean/keypad_tail_clean.html - for illustration), reinserting it into the slot and repeat above with the paper. good luck.

I have a whirlpool oven rbs305 and the pannel shuts down and a code comes up E6 and F2 What can be done Thanks

F2 and e6 in combination indicate a cancel key open condition. What this means in layman's terms is that the key-panel Has a problem. If it was just recently cleaned with a wet cleaner, you can try drying the keypad off or even CAREFULLY warming it up with a hair dryer. Don't get it too hot so that you melt anything.
If this does not work, you will need to replace the key panel on the oven.
You can do this repair yourself and should you decide to, please just comment back with the full model number off the tag on the oven and I will give you step by step instructions on how to do it.
Good luck!!

Replaced control panel on whirlpool electric double wall oven. e1 f5 code pops up,fault code says check door latch. checked switches on latch with meter check ok.what to check next

The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.

The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...

Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.

If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.

Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.

I have a Whirlpool double oven (model RBD275PDS14). The control panel goes blank about every 2-3 months, and the oven won't heat. Although, the light inside the oven will still work. When the panel lights...

Your error code is for a stuck keypad. You can try pressing every button at random several times each to unstick.'
When the control board is changed on these ovens the keypad assembly is supposed to be changed also.
