How to blow out the Lighter App for iPod Touch

There was a time when it was acceptable for Zippo lighters to take to shows and they wave back and forth while grooving to the music. Statutes fire in many communities to avoid using a lighter inside, but you can get almost the same vibe with the Virtual Zippo Lighter app for your iPhone or iPod touch. Just like the real thing, you can turn the film and it is light. There are two ways you can put out the flame.

1. Put your finger on the cover of the Zippo lighter and drag your finger to allow you to close the lid over the flame. The flame is extinguished. If you want to touch the flame more powerful, go to step 2.

2. Take the iPod touch securely in your hand, then you have a strong grip on the device.

3. Is it ok to use a Zippo hand warmer indoors?

It is perfectly alright as long as you are in a well-ventilated area.

The spring inside, that operates the lighter has broke?,where can i get a new one from ?or what else can i use

Honestly there is only a few ways to fix a Zippo. The company itself has a lifetime warranty on all its parts, so you can actually contact them via their website and send it to get fixed. Or what I would do it look for a junk zippo at a pawn shop or a thrift store and take the spring out of that one. Zippo parts are very easily interchangeable, and the design hasnt changed much in decades.

Had this problem too, refused to light after the first time. When I did get it lit it got REALLY hot, then went out. The last time I used it it finally lit, burnt ok for 4 hours then got REALY hot and went out again. Sorry I dont have an answer but can sympathise.

Won't turn on - requested new batteries so put them in then it said battery empty. Now won't turn on at all! No life - zippo!

Use hi power battery (Energiser Ultimate lithium for example). Change position of shooting to Manual and disable the flash. The full power now will be available to unlock the shutter and your camera is back in order.
If still not working keep it at a temperature over 23 Celsius and try the same. It will start Magic and you will be happy you spent 9$ for those batteries that last over 1000 shots

Dear Sir or Madam, I own a black Zippo lighter (ZIPPO MFG CO. Bradford.PA USA, and I can't close lid anymore. Thank you for helping me ! Kind regards Olivier Herrbach (France)

The hinge on the lighter is sprung you could probably send it to the company and have a new hinge put in it and it will work normally again.

Replace battery in my Pola F11 Heart Rate watch

Yes, your watch will retain the same water resistance if you will not damage the rubber gasket. After replacing watch battery, clean that rubber gasket with lighter fluid(ZIPPO), place back in watch exactly as it was before and reassemble the casing.
If there are screws on caseback, do not overtighten them. At the same time do not leave them too loose.
Memorize how much power you needed to unscrew them and use the same to screw them back.
I'm recommending ZIPPO, because it would be difficult for you to get special cleaner and grease for gasket.
After cleaning the gasket with ZIPPO, rub a little bit of vaseline in to your fingertips and slide the gasket through them. That will do a good lubrication.
Don't forget to rate, please.
