Question about Computers & Internet
Your computer probably has a registry key set to make your flash drive protected.
To remove this follow the following directions:
DISCLAIMER: If you are not comfortable using the registry editor find someone who knows how to and is comfortable using it.
1. Open Registry Editor Start-->Run Type: regedit
2. navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control
3. Click on "StorageDevicePolicies"
4. Double click on Write Protection and change value to '0'
5. Repeat for CurrentControlSet001 002 etc. etc.
Hope this helps
Have a great day!

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I was searching Transcend support site and found a recovery tool that may help. Here is the link. http://www.transcendusa.com/Support/DLCenter/Software/JetFlash%20Recovery%20Tool.zip
The support site describes it as "This program will erase all data stored on the JetFlash drive". Hope this helps.
