On the face of the shower head where the water sprays out of ,their should be a threaded nut to unscrew This is called the aerator. This is the part wher the filter screen is .Once you clean this part you should be up and running.

Any idea how to open the grey part where the water comes out of this rohl 1151/8pn handheld shower?

Joe, Soak that head in a plastic bag or container of vinegar and it will remove most if not all the deposits, just give it a little scrub with old tooth brush a few times put back in vinegar for approximately 4 hours or leave overnight. This may also allow easier disassemble.
Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Shower keeps tripping out ? Only just started doing it

Calcium deposits from hard water are collecting inside the shower head. The holes are narrowing and/or clogging.
Unscrew the shower head and clean with a Calcium removing agent. Or get a new one for the price of the chemistry needed to clean the head.

My grohe 5 spray plus hand held shower is locked in the hand held position and I can't get the top shower head to turn on. The control used to switch easily from top spray to hand held but is now locked...

The control may be clogged with mineral deposits and consequenly unable to function. You can try disassembling the shower to remove the deposits but it may be necessary to replace the complete unit.

My water pressure is very low from the original install is there a way to adjust the faucet to allow a better pressure flow

Your issue could be caused by the water restrictor in the shower head. To know for sure, remove the shower head and then turn the water on.

Very tough water restrictions have manufacturers using plastic water restrictors in the shower heads.

Although you are not supose to, some shower heads can be taken apart to modify, or remove the restrictor.

I hope this helps you.

Due to city water line repairs, the shower head needs to be taken apart and cleaned. I have remved the head, but can't figure out how to disassemble it.

Most modern multi function shower heads cannot be disassembled. Spray water into the outlet part to remove larger bits, then leave in vinegar and water solution (50:50) overnight to remove calcium build up.

How do i disassemble this shower head to clean out the mineral deposit?

Most often the shower head will be threaded together. Use 2 strap wrenches to take it apart. The strap wrenches will not damage the finish. Do not force it if the fixture does not come apart easily. Soak the head in vinegar overnight to loosen the mineral deposits and make it easier to work with. Good Luck

Shower fell apart or actually blew off under water pressure

Check water pressure valve if you are on city water it may be bad and allowing water to be more than it can take.

If this is the case you can make you up a gauge on a water hose connection to hook up to and outside faucet to get a pressure reading.

Sounds like diverter valve which is your shower handle valve is bad take it apart and check out and replace it if possible because that transfer water to shower head.
