Driver for bmc cdma technologies msm

The best way to find the CORRECT driver for a device/part is to track down the "VENDOR ID" and the "DEVICE ID".

Go to Control Panel / Device Manager and locate the device that you need the driver for.
Double-click that item and go to the tab called "Events".
In the box "Information" there SHOULD (but this is not always the case) be a string similar to:

VEN_xxxx&DEV_yyyy&SUBSYS............

The VEN is the vendor, the DEV is the device.
Enter those two identifiers in this site/dialog:

http://www.pcidatabase.com/

and you should be able to search for the correct driver for your Windows version (look for it on the HP site first).

Good luck.

No mass storage controller on hp invent compaq nc 8230 with win 7

Please let me know the installed operating system (XP or 7) and I need the details of the components. Please do:
Control Panel, System, Device Manager, [Component Name], [Component with Exclamation], [Right click], Properties, Details tab, Property pull down; chose Hardware Ids and write down the VEN and the DEV sections in the Value's box (including the VEN and the DEV words)
Please do not download drivers from questionable websites because it may contain malware.

I have an Ic power cn5560 laptop and need the audio drivers

right first off, right click my computer and go to manage once their click on device manager in the left hand pane and then audio devices in the middle. right click the audio device and select properties then go to the details tab and in the drop down menu change it to hardware ID's.

you should have a string of code pop up like this HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0880&SUBSYS_08800000&REV_0905
what we want is the VEN and DEV numbers so
VEN 10EC and DEV 0880

now take these to the website pcidatabase and paste the numbers into the correct search boxes this will take you to the manufacturer and the device once you have it simply take the name you have and search it on Google along with your OS (please bear in mind if your laptop originally came with XP and has now been moved to 7 you may have trouble finding a compatible driver, you can of course try and install it in compatibility mode

Local area connection driver download

unfortunately there isn't a website that just hosts drivers for all technology but there is something that can help.

first right click on my computer and go manage, once their go to device manager and then to the device that is missing the driver so this will be your LAN connection.

right click this and go to properties then to the tab details
in the window below there is a drop down menu change this to hardware ID.

and it should look something like this
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8169&SUBSYS_0C24105B&REV_10

what we are after is the numbers after VEN and DEV so:
VEN 10EC
DEV 8169

the VEN number is for Vendor I.e. who makes it the next is what device it is.

armed with both of these go to pcidatabase and search the VEN and then DEV till you find the numbers that match once you have this copy what it says the device is, paste this into google and then add driver and what ever OS it is so example

Realtek RTL8169/8110 Family PCI Gigabit Ethernet NIC windows 7 driver

of course if you use a 64bit OS check that it is a 64bit driver

If this is a Windows 8 upgrade, it's a common problem. First you have to ID the Unknown device in Device Manager with a yellow triange. Take a look at this forum: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-Systems-and-Software/acpi-ven-hpq-amp-dev-0004/td-p/2537553 You can try this software:

My HP pavillion dv6700 laptops sound doesn't work .... the icon has a re x at the bottom and it says no audio device has been installed; it is only 2yrs. old; can this be resolved or would it be best to...

I believe it can be resolved without purchasing a new laptop.

Windows is a 'funny animal'. Sometimes Windows just looses it. You need to reinstall your audio device Drivers again.

It's Integrated Audio used on the HP Pavilion DV6700T laptop. An audio chip soldered to the motherboard.
Another term used for Integrated Audio is OnBoard Audio.
On the motherBoard.

Chip and Chipset are slang terms for I.C.
Integrated Circuit,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrated_circuit

(If it wasn't Integrated Audio, it would be a separate audio adapter card. {Sound Card} The audio chip is soldered to an adapter card. The adapter card is removable. This would allow replacing the audio adapter card. Not happening for an HP Pavilion dv6700t laptop)

Drivers are small software programs that allow the Operating System to communicate with the device.
(Windows XP and Windows Vista are two examples of an Operating System. O/S)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Device_driver

There is an HP Pavilion DV6700T Entertainment Notebook PC series, and an HP Pavilion DV6700T SPECIAL EDITION Entertainment Notebook PC series of laptops.

I need to know what Operating System you are using. Do I assume Windows Vista? (Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit)

Going with Windows Vista, here is the Audio Driver download page for the Pavilion DV6700T notebook, (Laptop),

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=2093&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=3650962

Doesn't matter what version of Vista it is, this audio file is for all versions of Vista.

On the above page left-click on the + sign to the left of -
Driver- Audio (1)

Now go to the right, and left-click on Download, in the rectangular box.

A small box will come up, Opening sp38899.exe
The name of this file is sp38899.exe

Left-click on Save File.

The file will be saved to, where ever your downloads are set to save to. The file needs to be found, then opened in order to work.

When you see the audio file (sp38899.exe) Double-click on it.
The Windows Installation wizard will lead you through installing.

If you are asked to restart your computer, do so.
If not, restart your computer.

HIDDEN SETTINGS FOR PHOENIX NOTEBIOS 4.0 RELEASE 6

You need to check the drivers for the card. Go to START, CONTROL PANEL,SOUNDS AND AUDIO DEVICES right click on the audio device and pick properties, it should show as enebled. If you can't see the device in the dialogue boxes then this suggest that the driver isn't installed. Then download "DRIVER MAX" and this will find all devices and download the best driver for them.
