are a number of things that can cause the computer or the camera to freeze
I’d check to see how much memory is installed in the computer.
It takes additional memory to operate the camera.
this helps. Bud
How much memory is installed in your computer? If its not enough it will cause the computer to freeze up because there is not enough memory to operate the camera. Could be something else causing the problem. Hope this helps. Bud
Go to http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/support_downloads/downloads/&cl=gb,en
you can download drivers from the Logitech support centre. You'll need to look on the webcam (or packaging if you have it) and find the model number. Select your product from the drop-down boxes and download the relevant software onto the pc. If you then unplug the webcam from the pc, and plug it back in again the software will begin to install, you will have to click next a few times whilst it is installing.
It is not the web cam or the computer why it freezes. It is the internet connection using in the philippines. the upload stream is too slow thats it lags the image. It could also be caused by the computer memory. But most of the time it is the connection. Be sure that when he/ she is using the webcam, shes not doing other things on the internet like downloading or browsing.
