SOURCE: Zanussi ZWF16581W Washing Machine

Not helpful as the instructions given in the manual do not work. It may be that they do work at a certain point but they don't tell you WHEN to press them. When the machine has irritated you beyond belief in beeping like a maniac? Before you start the cycle? during the cycle? When? Have tried all of these but to no avail. What am I missing?!

SOURCE: Display comes up with e40 on the Zwf16581w zanussi

Hello,

E40 is a common fault relating to the door switch, how old is your machine because that model was first made in 2007 until the present so it may be worth your while getting in touch with your dealer or Electrolux. The problem is that if you get a fault on the door switch you may well replace it and find all is ok but the original door fault could have caused damage to the main Programmer.

Good luck and I hope I helped.

Door wont open on washing machine zwf16581w at the end of the cycle

The door is designed to stay shut at the end of a cycle usually for about 4 minutes, even if you switch the machine off at the mains. Other than that you probably need a repair.

I believe there is a setting where you can turn the beeping alarm off completely. Read the manual and you should find it.
