Question about EliteGroup ESC P4VMM2D Main Board Socket 478 for Intel Pentium 4 processor (MBECP4VMM2D) Motherboard

Connecting USB harness to mother board

I am trying to reinstall a p4vmm2 mother board into my computer but some of the harnesses are not marked clearly as to where they need to go. In particular there are 2 usb headers with 9 terminals on each, (pin 9 is missing on both usb1 and usb2.)
Both will accept a harness, consisting of 4 individual plugs. The plugs are identified and their wires are color coded as follows;
Vcc 1 red
gnd1 black
Data - 1 yellow
Data +1 green
The other wires are similarly identified with the number 2 used instead of 1. My question is, what are the pin numbers on the USB headers that these wires should be connected to ??
Thanks Tibor

    Thanks for your help, I got the ports wired properly, now I am looking at the bias supply that used to work, but now I get no outputs from any of the supplies.

How to remove the wiring harnesses from their connectors on the 42" Olevia TV

Exactly what harness are you trying to remove?...are you referring to the flat ones that go from the TCON to the panel? or the ones that connect the power supply to mother board

No power to inside on/off switch 120v or 12v, i checked with multi meeter

You either have a bad harness from the main board to the eyebrow board or the eyebrow board is bad. You can open the freezer door and snap the upper cover off of the refrigerator which will expose the harness. The harness will be secured to the back of the eyebrow board with a small plastic band and a screw. you can either disconnect the harness and tie/tape a string to the harness which will allow you to reinstall the harness after testing or you can make a long jumper that will connect to the harness and allow you to test the continuity without removing the harness. Either way you need to check the harness for continuity and also verify that there aren't any shorted wires. If the harness checks good, then it is probably a bad upper circuit board (eyebrow board).

You have a wire harness that attaches the upper board to the lower board. You may have to pull that harness thru the uprights ( Attach a fishing line so you can either pull a new harness thru or the original one ) and inspect it for snags crimps or broken wires also use a meter to a continuity check on the harness ends. Since the the command signals travel thru this harness also check all connections on the lower board. Its starting point
