The cd which comes with the player contains a program called "Arcsoft media coverter". You need to run your videos through that program to get them into a format accepted by the Insignia.

Another option is to use a different converter program (basically, the primary answer is that you need to convert your videos to a format the Pilot recognizes), but the options are too numerous to expand on. I'll refer you to anythingbutipod.com which has an excellent Insignia section.

I CAN'T GET NO VIDEOS OR MUSIC TO PLAY IT ALWAYS SAYS FILE NOT SUPPORTED WHAT DOES THAT MEAN

Your Phillips supports the following formats :

WMV ( Windows Media Video )
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Media_Video

WMA ( Windows Media Audio )
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Media_Audio

and MP3

If you not are using the above mentioned file formats you will get an error message like that.
Hope you this will help you.

I need to know what video format this supports cause it told me mp4 and it doesnt read it, it just says file not supported

Gogear Vibe can be SA1xxx or SA2xxx and the supported video file types are different. I think you have SA2xxx bacause it uses mp4 format. In this case:

To ensure playback of video files such as .mp4:
  • Always use Philips Songbird to transfer the files.
  • Make sure Quick Time (latest version) and Windows Media Player 11 (or higher) has been installed before Philips Songbird is installed.

It will not let me put songs or wideos on there from windows media player

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is anincompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to aformat that your MP3 player uses. Click on this link for instructions on converting videofiles for MP3 players :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5874192-play_videos_mp3_player MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

I convert a video from youtube to my mp3 and i could play the video on my windows media player but when i sync the video to my mp3 player it either wont work or it will just become an audio

That means your computer can play lots of media files because it supported multimedia files example audio or video. Unlike your mp3 player has only limited file format supported. So much better if you try to convert into different media or video format example 3gp,mp4 or avi.Try to download and install this software it might solve your problem Total Converter or Real Player Sp converter.

How can i put photos in my mp3?

The player only supports .jpg extension files. Picture files must be put in the "Media" folder (if Windows Media Player 10TM is installed) or "Internal Storage" folder (if Windows Media Player 11TM is installed).

Hope this helps :)

Help? svp!

"File Format Not Supported" - SA6045/37 The file format not supported message means that the type of file you are trying to load into the GoGear is not compatible with the GoGear. There are no GoGear's that are compatible with iTunes. As far as WMA files are concerned, the GoGear's vary wildly. If the WMA file has a bit rate higher than 192 kbps (which is quite common nowadays), it will not work. If you actually have an SA6045, then make sure the license on the WMA file has "transfer rights," or that the license has not expired. You can check this by right-clicking on the song, selecting Properties, and looking at the tab that says "license" or "digital rights management."
If you find that you are using an incompatible format, convert the songs to mp3 format. If the songs came from CD, use Windows Media Player to re-rip the songs in Mp3 format. You can do this in Windows Media Player 11 by  higlighting the "Rip" tab, pulling down the drop down-menu by clicking on the little tiny arrow that appears underneth the word "rip," and selecting "format", and then "mp3".
Good luck!
