Is there a written procedure for the replacement of the crt's

THey are all a little different. Look it over closely for a way in. make sure you mark all the wires and be sure the new crt is compatible

Please specify the model number.
I personally feel replacing tube would be expensive than getting a new TV set.
If you want to remove the tube, switch off the unit. Unplug and leave the unit for 5-10 mins (until the capacitors in the circuit get discharged.)
Remove all the connections leading to the tube. Do remember the connections which you need to connect back.
Remove the tube.
Insert the new tube and connect back everything.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
