Lexma Panda 10C webcam won't work
I had the same problem with the Panda 10C from Walmart. From what I can determine the "advanced driver" was not included in the installation software on the CD. The installation literature included with the unit says to install the "advanced driver" first, then plug in the webcam to a USB port. I got it to work finally by plugging in the webcam to a USB port, then just installing the generic driver from the software included in the package. It works with Skype, but there is no face tracking, etc. I could not find an advanced driver on the web. I contacted Arcsoft, the maker of the software but they could not help. Lexma does not even show the Panda on their site, but they might help. I paid about $25CDN for the unit, so I guess you get what you pay for. I think I will look at another webcam, perhaps a logitech Pro 9000, but some of the reviews show it even has problems, mostly with the sound.
