Need a carburator for a powermate 6000

Hello Diana,

My name is Larry Boccioletti, I am a coleman repairman from Ontairo Canada. The Coleman you have I am presuming is a generator. Coleman do not supply engine parts for the generator.
If you can supply me the serial number I will try and locate what horsepower your unit is and the engine manufacturer. I will also
get you the part number and Canadian price for the carb.
That's the best I can do for now.
Thanks

I have a problem with the carburator at my coleman powermate pro gen 5000, where i buy this carburator on line. thanks

To find the correct part on line, first determine the engine model number and code stamped or labeled on the engine fan cover. For example will be Briggs, or Honda etc. Once you determine the Engine brand and model number, you can go to a web address like Jacks small engine, or even ebay or a replacement part or carb kit. May be easier to take the engine information to a mower repair shop in your area for a replacement. The engine on your generator is similar to one used on lawn equipment. Good luck

I cant figure out how to remove the carburator from my gen.It has been sitting up since katrina. I want to clean it out

I believe you would have better luck if you checked under the manufacturer of the motor used in the generator. Not sure what they used for the particular unit, but as I said, you may have better luck by looking into the motor manufacturers web site.
