Question about Canon PowerShot S1 IS Digital Camera
Camera was working fine until Christmas 2008. All the pictures taken have a reddish color in the background. I reviewed my manual and could not locate anything that addresses this problem. Typically I use the AF setting. Any guidance to correct this problem would be appreciated. Thank You! Canon Power Shot S1 IS - 3.2 mega pixels - 10 x optical zoom.
This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
