What carrier is that sim from? anyway if you put that sim into the iphone there is an option to import sim card contacts through settings. go to: settings, mail contacts and calendars, scroll down to the bottom and press the import contacts button. i will warn you that this does not always work.

I want to transfer my number to a new iPhone and I don't remember my account number or PIN number. Can you help me to find this information?

If you haven't cut your SIM card for iPhone yet, you can take advantage of the SIM card to transfer contacts from Motorola to iPhone. You need to go to your Contacts app and choose Export Contacts to SIM. Then the contacts can be transferred to the SIM card. Now you can cut the card and install it in iPhone, and go to Settings > Mails, Contacts, Calendars, and scroll down to find Import SIM Card Contacts. Now you are able to import the contacts from SIM card to your iPhone.

Another method is using Gmail. Android users can take advantage of Gmail (or other emails provide contacts sync function) to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone. The following tutorial will show you how to do it:
  1. Log in Gmail on your Android phone, and check the "Sync Contacts" option (If you are first time to use this method.
  2. After Gmail Contacts synced with your Android Contacts, you should turn to iPhone, and tap Settings > Mails, Contacts, Calendars, and tap Add Account. Then choose Google, and enter your Gmail account.
  3. After adding Google Account, you can turn on Contacts, and iPhone will ask whether you want to merge with your iPhone contacts. Click Yes and the contacts will be synced to your iPhone.
With the sync function of Gmail, people are able to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone with ease. If you aren't using Gmail on your iPhone, don't worry, you can take advantage of other email services like Yahoo, Outlook and so on.
You can also take advantage of the third-party iPhone transfer software to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone directly. Among all the iPhone transfer programs, iTransfer is regarded one of the best.

Ok so i put my simcard in and it said locked sim so wat do i do

If you bought the iPhone used, it could be already locked to a carrier. If the iPhone wasnt previously purchased at full price (or jailbroken) then it will be locked to a specific carrier like Rogers or AT&T. If thats the case, you will have to contact that carrier and ask if they will unlock it, otherwise jailbreaking the iPhone can unlock it aswell, you can find guides through google on how to do it, Apple doesn't support it.

If you did buy the phone new, then try plugging into iTunes (make sure iTunes is fully updated, i think 10.3 is then newest). If it recognizes it and doesn't activate the SIM card, there will be an option to restore the iPhone (Erase and reinstall the operating system. If it doesn't recognize it at all through iTunes, follow this article to force it into Recorvery mode, which can let you restore it. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808

Ive got a orange i phone 3g 16gb and when i put my orange sim card in it dosntread it it says insert valid sim card with no pin lock to activate i phone? help!!

Take a look in the back of the sim card and see if you notice any problems with the copper linings, If so then just go to ATT and they will give you a free sim card for your under your plan. Make sure you have it inserted correctly in the tray there is only one way for it to go in .

Ii got a unlocked iphone had signal for the first hur or too now has none even tho it says orange has no bars and cant txt or call or recive

Reset the iPhone:
It has been observed that simply resetting the iPhone can resolve signal strength issues.
Reset network settings:
In some cases resetting the network settings has also helped so tap Settings, tap General, tap Reset, tap Reset Network Settings.
This will restart your iPhone and will also delete any stored Wi-Fi passwords as well as DNS settings and more.

Place your SIM card again:

If your iPhone’s SIM card is not placed properly, it has been observed that it can affect signal strength.
So a good idea would be to remove your iPhone's SIM card by pushing a straightened paper clip into the small hole on the top of the device to open the SIM tray, then check for debris inside the tray or SIM card slot, remove it by blowing into the slot or using compressed air and then placing the SIM card properly and then re-inserting the SIM tray.
The notion is that improper SIM contact can result in a weak signal, so the above procedure could help.
Attaching scotch tape to the SIM card:
This is indeed the most ingenious methods, it appears that attaching a small piece of scotch tape to the outer side of the iPhone’s SIM card (the side of the SIM card that does not have metal contacts) can result in a surprising boost again borrowing from the notion that improper SIM contact can result in a weak signal.

I have a blackberry pearl and i want to swicth to appleiphone there both att

on the bb pearl save all your contacts to the sim card. Then take that sim card out of the bb and put it in the iPhone. From there wait for the iPhone to turn on, then go to the "settings" - "mail, contacts, calendars" - then scroll all the way to the bottom and select "import sim contacts" Then you should be good to go with your new iPhone and have all of your contacts - Hope this helps!

Cannot import contact from sim card to iphone 3G

Turn off the iPhone before inserting the sim, insert sim, turn on, import contacts. If you put the sim in the phone without restarting it for some reason it doesn't get all the contacts sometimes.
