Try X/C/V and the ctrl-key on the left or right side of the keyboard.
You may need to reinstall special keyboard drivers.

My computer wont go to the sign in page

Could be a hardware or software problem, not enough detail to tell, however..
Before you try anything remove all external devices and see if anything changes. Sometimes external device drivers can prevent KB working.
Is there an icon the bottom left corner of the login screen? If so select Type without a keyboard and an on-screen keyboard should appear. Use the trackpoint/pad (or mouse) to log in.
Now check the keyboard to see which if any keys are working.

Angelo, do you have the installation CD-ROM that came with the keyboard and mouse? If so, it should work just find with your Sony Vaio VGC-V517G all-in-one computer. Let me know if you have any issues.

Hi, I run Windows XP SP3 and my recently purchased LogiTech EX110 keyboard has intermittent keying problems where I get a repeated figure 5 when some other keys are pressed, particularly the figure 4. ...

Keyboards are easy replaceable parts, depending on the type of keyboard it is.. i know you probably like that keyboard, but perhaps you may need to take it back to the store and get your money back or replace that one as well. Since you say there was some conflict with software, I figure you probably had a driver issue with the keyboard, perhaps that keyboard is not compatible with your Windows XP SP3 // since a newer keyboard no doubt might be windows 7 compatible. Check to make sure again your KB is compatible with Windows XP SP3, Although, i know you probably have.. it wouldn't hurt to check again, you'll be surprise how something could be missed. :) Good luck, I hope this help.. If not.. perhaps others can weigh in as well :)

A4tech KB(S)-1527R (KB-1527R) Keyboard and Mouse

Hi,

Normally there won't be an issue. Keyboards and mouse are normally capatible with all versions of windows. This set will probably come with a cd if drivers are needed to be installed for the receiver. Hope this helps.

Cheers

Keyboard is messing up...the keys won't type or they type many times I've tried dust remover and new batteries

Sounds like its a problem with the receiver. Try reinstalling the usb receiver and make sure that its being recognized properly by windows. Also make sure your receiver is positioned good so its not to far from the mouse or keyboard.

If it is then type and if your having the same problems then they keyboard would be faulty at this point. Many times the main board inside of these keyboards go bad especially if water may have gotten spilled on them.

Wireless Multimedia keyboard volume keys won't work.

Go to start and run then type services.msc or if using windows 7 just go to start and type services.msc in the search box. Once open find the service "Human Interface Device Access". Change it from manual to automatic and make sure that it is started.

Keyboard problem

The extras keys would need the device driver or a software for the system to identify them.May be your hard drive repairs corrupted these drivers or removed them from the system. Find the driver/software for the key board and install it.If its already there uninstall and re install it again. That should fix the problem
