If you can make it run by holding the switch in, then the problem is with the switch, else it is almost certainly a control board issue, although it is probably worth checking all the connections to the control board/switch just in case. The float switch may be stuck in the up position which shuts the fill solonoid valve off. you should be able to find the float switch under the lower dish basket.
