How to connect printer to computer

I found this on the Dell support page for you:

  1. Insert the installation CD into the optical drive of the computer.

  2. The Autoplay window may appear, if so click Run Setup.exe.

  3. The User Account Control window may appear, if so click Continue.

  4. On the Welcome screen, click Install.

  5. On the License agreement screen, click I agree, if you agree with the license.

  6. On the Select your included software screen, click Continue.

  7. On the Check for updates screen, select No (this can be done later), then click Continue.

    • Anytime the Software or Hardware Installation window appears, click Continue Anyway

    • Anytime the Windows Security window appears, click
      Install this driver software anyway.

Choose below if this is the first time setting up the printer or if it is already set up and you are installing it on a computer.

(Set up means the printer has been taken out of the box, powered on, the ink cartridges have been installed and is connected to the wireless network.)

Installed new modem now printer will not work in wireless function

If you mean you installed a new wireless card. You will need to run the CD-rom that came with the printer and go through the connection wizard again
Most likely your best bet is to re-run the install cd-rom anyway, and go through the wizard again. see if that fixes the problem.
If not, post back to this site with what happened.
