before you take it apart ,I want you to check, the pullout handle first, because most of the time ,all that is wrong is that little1/2-5/8 in washer between the handle and the hose,It usually runs down the hose ,and might apear to be something else leaking under the sink.If your correct, and it is leaking where you said. Some of the newer faucet have a clip that just pushes together. So you need it fing the clip, and push it in.
I have had these apart. The leak is from a seal around the motor shaft. By the time it is leaking the shaft has pitted to the point a new seal will not repair it. Getting it apart can result in damaged parts as it is sealed together with very tight tolerances and a glue like sealer. Eric
The seal between the top and the bottom plate has lost it's integrity. First try tightning the 2 screws on the underside of the iron. If that doesn't fix the problem, then you will need to take the iron apart and fix the seal. That will require you to remove those 2 screws and also a third screw that is up by the toe of the iron underneath the sprayer. You will then need to slowly pull the 2 pieces apart becasue the seal is made of a sticky rubber substance. Once you get it apart, you can then distribute the seal material to cover the bad area. Then just put it back together!
It will come apart.Sometimes the whole front panelcomes off them with the door attached.
every thing is put together in a certain order.
You can get a front loader manual from your local libuary.Take your pump cover off and start looking for screws.
You must locate your water leak first.
If its a tub leak you will need to change a rubber seal.
