Kitsound boom dock - Audio Players & Recorders

welcome to the apple world. no solution to this one but to raise your concern with apple.

Try swapping the boombox antenna with the car dock to see if you get the same problem. If yo do, you know the boombox is bad. Otherwise, its the antenna and you just need to get a replacement.

no. stiletto 2 will not fit into earlier model stiletto dock. i order the older model boom box by accident. i tried but will not fit.

The amp is not muting properly. If it has an iPod docking bay fitted this is normal because the iPod requires the amp to be unmuted at all times. So it won't actually do any harm.

Check a small sliding dip switch on the amp marked 'mute' and see what position it is in.

I had the same problem. I un-installed it from the Control Panel. After a while it hung, so I cancelled it. I downloaded a new version from the Dell web-site (http://support.us.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R192718&formatcnt=1&libid=0&fileid=265024)
I tried to install it, but I got the error saying a version was already present. I then removed the DellDock directory from Program Files\Dell, ran the install program and bada-bing bada-boom, the Dock is back. It even remembered all the shortcuts I had previously docked.

Be sure all is charged and connected to power correctly. Next the only other thing you can really do is to clean the connections on the device and the dock useing denatured(rubbing)alcohol and q-tips. This should help. Good Luck
P.S. Make sure all the settings are correct both on the dock and the xm - radio. Sometimes there are settings that can be off. Good Luck

Check your Conns both on Radio and docking Bay make sure Nothing Got on them .Clean them with alchol and Swab Good luck ttech
