Sounds like you need rear rollers or you have a bad blower wheel. If you turn the dryer off and still hear the rumble for a few seconds its the blower wheel. If the rumbling stops instantly then you have bad rear rollers. Hope this helps.
That model of neptune dryer had a problem with the blower housings cracking. When the housing cracks, it binds forward into the blower wheel making a loud "rumble" noise and vibration. If you open the door and manually turn the drum and you hear a rubbing noise and feel alot of resistance, then you have a cracked blower housing and need to replace it. It is not an easy job to replace, so if your not familiar with dryers, you should have a technician replace it. Let me know if you have any further questions. shane
squeeling hi pitch is usually the drum support roller above the heater. if you take the machine apart and turn all moving parts by hand you should be able to find the problem...if its a rumbling noise then it may be the blower wheel. UNPLUG FIRST..good luck :)
