how old is your plasma TV? try check the switch / volume of the sound settings.. Sometimes, when you always increase the volume, it will tend to alter the limit of sound and causing the sound to provide sound undesiredness. I suggest to check it with a liscensed technician.

Sounds like your panel might be going out or a faulty video card. This is the first time I have heard of a solid pink screen on a plasma. Usually this happens on LCDs, though they sometimes go white and stay white, which does signal a bad panel. tv needs repair

These problems are probably bad inverter board that supply the inverted voltages to the back lights. It also could be a failure of the back light itself. This problem should be taken to a service center, where they can test the inverter board and the back lights.
