Clio 2010 dymanique gear box problem

If you have a clutch problem you would not get it into 1st without a clash of gears . So put that aside for a minute.. 1st and 2nd are on the same selector rail and move the same dog clutch (gear ) in the box. If there is something wrong with the syncro rings it may be holding up the shift or jamming on the output shaft. The linkage can be causing the fault if the selection is outside the gear box from wear and being loose effectively trying to select 2 gears together If the selection is in the top of the box pull the lever and see if there is a small plastic cup on the end of the lever that fits neatly in the slot across the rails. If it damaged it may be trying to move 2 rails at the same time. Check for metal on the magnet of the drain plug because if there is bits of metal there the problem may be misalignment of the input and main shaft due to a bearing failure.

Chuck will only turn side to side after repair of gears box after

I need more information to answer your problem.
The chuck normally has movement turning because of the clutch gear.
It is possible if you had a gear strip or spindle break that there are pieces of metal in the grease that have jammed your new gears. I would recommend tearing down completely, remove all the grease, thoroughly clean gearcase, regrease & reassemble.

Metal grinding noise from gearbox

Pull the gear box drain plug and check for heavy metal stuck to the magnet. I suspect that the clutch in-put shaft bearing has failed. If so you will have to have the gear box rebuilt as the metal will have affected the other bearings

I have a 1987 mq nissan patrol turbo charge problem is there is a "rattly" noise when under load in 1st,2nd,3rd and 5th gear. When in 4th gear it is as quiet as a mouse. Can you advise what may be...

metal in the box oil indicates bearing failure in the transmission
in effect there is no 4th gear as it is a direct coupling of the in and out put shafts so there is no side load on the counter shaft and no load on those bearings so that will explain the noise in all of the gears except 4th which is straight through
time to pull the box before a bearing comes apart and damages teeth on the gears

I have a grinding noise in my transmission when I change gears what could this be

Possible wear and tear on the gear linkages/ the shaft/ the gears or the failure to notch.
All this relates to a possible fault within the gear box , check for PLAY of the gear levers/linkages, if worn out change them so that the links MOVE perfectly when the lever is moved to change the gears. Also check the gear box OIL within , if the oil seems to contain metal particles then you need to open the gear box without delay.

The mixer turns on, motor is running, but the beaters are not turning

Most likely what has happened is that the gears have stripped. The gears inside are plastic but the spindle is metal. When a dough is too heavy and gets caught up in the beaters it tends to eat them. If you take it apart, you will probably find that the gears are shot.
The fix...order new gears, tear down the mixer and replace them. These gears really should have been metal! Check the sunbeam web site for authorized repair places to get your parts.

1. Remove the ejector should pop out with a flat head screw driver. There is a small phillips head screw under it. Take it out.

2. Take out the screws on the bottom. This should allow the face plate on the mixer to slide off, allowing your motor assembly to then be pulled forward.

3. Remove the mounting brackets/shock absorbers...they are rubber u shaped items that hold the motor in. Once that is done, remove the black plastic bracket on the bottom; two phillip head screws. Then unscrew the two long screws underneath. they hold on the speed control electric board as well as the top to the gear box. Pop the silver fasteners on the side of the gear box and you are in. the gears should lift out. put the new ones in and do the whole thing in reverse.

hope this helps.

I have a tp104 p3 intermatic timer and the clock is not working it looks like the motor for the gears are working but the clock will not turn

Motor has plastic gears.
Timer wheel has metal gears.
If metal gears are not turning, and clock is turning, plastic gears are probably stripped.

And metal gears might be dirty and rusted.
Look close where plastic and metal gears meet.

2 solutions:
1) clean metal gears and replace clock motor
T-104 takes T-100 series 208-277V clock motor
Add a bit of white grease where trippers meet metal lever
Grainger sells parts.

2) buy new T-104 and swap out insides without changing box

I have a 1995 nissan pickup the transmission have a metal to metal. 5 sp manual 4th gear is but all other are ruff, with u let out on the clutch.

A lack of gear oil in the transfer case or gear box will make shifting and gears become ruff then destroyed within a few hundered miles, sometimes much much less. Unless this truck has had a history of bad shifting technique I have found these trucks and gears to be extremely reliable. If the clutch makes a loud wirring noise when engaged and disengaged ther may be a bearing problem. Check the U joints in the driveline. Bad U joints would usualy result in a lot of gear box twisting and jerking when starting out but diminishes with speed.

Sounds like you haven't formatted the external Hard-Drive.
You need to allocate a file-system to the free space on your hard drive. You can do that in Disk Management and use the format option. You can select from two file system formats: FAT32 and NTFS. I would recommend NTFS because it is a journalling file system (recovers quickly in case of a crash).
