I don't have the remote & when I turn the set on it reads aux or aux seq. It works fine with a dvd, but I can't get it to tune into cable tv. Is there a maual setting or does it have to be done through the remote?

the tv is just okey only that it has a failt with tuner stage, but never the less, take your tv to a tech, who will contact, assistance.
