SOURCE: Element flx-3210 lcd tv
I have an element lcdtv 32inch. The tv is less than a year old, i was watching the tv and it just shut off. The red light is on, when i go to power it up, the blue light comes on for a second then blinks, and goes back to red. I know its not a brand name tv, but for 600 bucks, it should last for more than 8 months. Anyone have any advice ?

Testimonial: "Thank you. I last took off the back of a TV 30 years ago when I got out of Electronics school-now I do another line of work-and the back through which the line cord went slid off the top of the TV sliced the tube in half and knocked me about ten feet onto a couch. I have never opened the back of a TV since then. But, since it is my baby, I will give it a shot. I was hoping they would just have a push button circuit breaker like the old TVs. Thank you."
The tv power supply board is dead.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Have you got a stand by light on, or is tv dead totally.I would Check plug fuse if dead, My suspect would be power supply capacitors drying out (had this fault recently with friends tv) this caused tv to be working sometimes but eventually stuck on standby. Capacitors are cheap but not a job for the novice.
You could ask local tv shop for estimate
