X-sectional area of a power cable is 1000 sq mm-how can i understand?

This is a common way of specifying an electrical conductor. The wire is almost certainly round, and may have more than one strand.

XSA = PI * R^2 where R is radius, so a single strand of that XSA is 17.8 mm radius or 35.6 mm dia.

If the conductor has 10 strands, each is 100 sq mm and therefore 5.6 mm radius or 11.2 mm dia.

Go to a store like Lowe's and look in their electrical department. You need wire the same gauge size (stranded or solid) and comparable insulation. Hope this helps!

I require a wiring dia for kelvinator N395BGWH no frost model

What is the fault you are trying to eliminate? There is a possibility that the fault is other than in the wiring. Check on the back of the unit as wiring diagrams are sometimes attached to the back wall of the refrigerator.

Replacement screws for connecting the power wires

The smaller screws should have been 5mm dia with a 0.8mm thread pitch. The larger ones are probably 8mm dia. with a 1.25mm thread pitch.

Is 5/16 too large or too small? If 5/16 is too large, the screw is probably 7mm.

Do you have one of the original B+/ground screws? If so, it should be easy to measure it and get the correct size.
