Question about Surveillance Cameras

1 Answer

I have a Grundig tv WF70-3020, when turned on this afternoon, the

Screen came up with Protected and the security details which were put in to the tv when we bought it 6 0r 7 years ago, but never activated the security protection. We recently acquired a Matsui TV which we are using separately for the Wii which did have security protection on it so we turned this off. Has this affected our Grundig TV as I understand they are made by the same people. We have tried turning everything off and unplugging but no luck as yet. Can anyone help?

Thank you

The installer code is 3477, switch off the tv and unplug from the mains and leave for at least 30 minutes before trying this when you switch on your tv it will ask you for a pin code - use the installer code and it works just fine :)

Does anyone know a way to hard wire my wireless security camera to my tv or comp?

Hey there!
You must have the Video card with the receptors for the TV, which is normally to the front or the back of the TV; of course the ability to turn the channel to input 1 or 2 as the case maybe. You must also have the power adapter for the camera, plus the BNC adapter from RCA to BNC. The computer needs a PCI video card, with similar fittings. Tha's it.

SD card Write Protected how do i get it to record.

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Connect the yellow connector of the camera to the TV Video input 1 or 2
Using the remote select the right video input on your TV by pressing, Video or Source on the remote to select the video input 1 or 2 whichever, input you connected the camera to that input needs to be active using the remote or keypad on the side of your TV set.

On your cable box it where your regular phone is plugged in, you need to take a regular phone cable and cut it, take that Green and Red wire to the series jack green and red... and take the yellow and black back to a phone jack. now plug your phone in that jack and it should work just fine.

Connections, security camara/vcr/tv

A VCR uses a "RF" signal, where a TV uses a broadcast signal. The standard TV will not record from a security VCR. However, if the TV has a yellow "video in" jack on the back, this will work to record the VCR. You might need to buy a BNC to RCA adaptor at radio shack. Let me know if this does not work.

Sounds like the iris is staying open.
You need to switch the bottom dip switch the other way

The switches are, from top to bottom:

  1. Sync selection switch (LL/INT)
  2. Electronic Light Control/Automatic Light Control selection switch (ELC/ALC)
  3. Detail level selection switch (SOFT/SHARP)
  4. Back light compensation on/off switch (BLC on/off)
