Re: Wont print from internet, only header and footer
I've had this as well printing from many sites. Typically happens when a site uses frames to display information. make sure you've clicked in the frame that contains the information you want printed, and choose "print preview" from the printer menu. This will show you what it will print (and most web browsers have the option to print all frames, or just the selected one. Make sure print "all frames" is turned on

I would think it has something to do with the margins of the print settings...like maybe the headers or footers too..right when you go to print deselect headers or footers, and check the margin settings...
go into setup and try printing a test page, if this prints, the printer is ok and the source of your print is at fault. as for the missing letters and etc, it sounds like you are out of ink or the print head is dirty, try cleaning the head (the software that came with your printer allows you to clean the heads, but be aware this takes lots of ink to accomplish.
If are using Vista or Windows 7 operating system, go to VIEW at the top of the document you are going to print and in the drop down under VIEW select and click on the FOOTER & HEADER and click on it.Then when the Footer & Header page comes up DELET everything in both of them and then on the right of the Footer & Header click on CLOSE and it should take care of the problem.
This also applies to other Operating System’s. Hope this helps, Bud
depending on the program you are using - you may need to go into the page setup section or footer section and either disable the footer or delete "confidential" from the footer section so that it doesn't print on your documents. Text in a header/footer will not display on the screen you are working on but will print on the final page.
What application are you using (w/ the document)? Margins sound like the problem. If you have changed any bottom or top margin, or added a footer or header, it may have altered the overall option on top of page.
