Gmail is a web based mail system. All of your contact should be there no matter what computer you log on with. Make sure you are logging un with the same user name and password that you did on previous occasions.

I believe to log onto Preceda Self Service you need to use Internet Explorer and I have Mozilla Firefox, what do I do?

You can use FireFox to log into Preceda Self Service. Please make sure that you have pop-ups allowed for the Preceda domain (go to Tools>>Options>>Content tab and click Exceptions next to 'Block Pop-Up Windows; then add 'www.preceda.com.au' into Address and click Allow)

My Toshiba laptop is stuck in logging off mode. How can I fix this?

if you have a program running that is non responsive and try to shut down or restart, the computer will get stuck on the logging off screen. Often times if a computer takes a long time to do anything, it means you need to defrag your hard drive. Manually shut down the computer (you might have been pushing the Sleep button. If you can't figure it out, just unplug it and let the battery run down.) and when you restart it, go to the My Computer or Computer option, right click on your C drive, click on properties and a window should pop up. Click on the tab that says Tools and click on the Defragmentation option. The rest should be pretty self-explanatory. If nothing works. please try logging in as administrator in safe mode and doing a system restore.... please see Using Windows Vista System Restore :: the How-To Geek

After logging into my yahoo e-mail account, when I click on the Inbox it kicks me back out to the desktop.

Re-install your internet explorer, if you are using a version lower than Internet Explorer 8 then I suggest you upgrade to 8. You can find the file at: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/default.aspx

If still after that the same thing happens then you need to run a full virus scan on your PC. I have written a tip on the best free antivirus programs, it can be found here:

Hi i have window vista and when you go on it ,it freezes but will work in safe mode can you help

If you have installed any new hardware or software recently, uninstall this while in safe mode.

If you have not installed any new hardware or software, try to do a system restore to an earlier date. You want to choose a date when you are pretty sure you were not having any issues logging in. Doing a system restore will not bother any docuements or emails that you may have, but if you have installed any new software, this will need to be reinstalled.

1. Click start, type System Restore, hit enter
2. Follow the wizard to restore your system to an earlier date.

If this does not work, try to limit what starts up when you log into windows normally.

1. Click start, type msconfig, hit enter
2. Click on Services Tab
3. Check hide all microsoft services
4. Click disable all
5. Click apply, and click ok, exit out of this window
6. Try to boot into windows normally
7. If you are able to, then you know that it is a start up service that is not allowing you to log into windows correclty. If this is the case, then go back to step 1, and reenable half of what you disabled, try logging into windows. Keep doing this until you are able to isolate what is causing the issue.
8. If you are still not able to, it may be a windows start up service that is causing the issue.

All the above can be done from safe mode.

Hope this helps.
