NWZ-B133F Sony Walkman won't turn off, no data on it too.
My daughter accidently formatted her MP3 player NWZ-B133F . It only turns off when you push the reset button and when it is on there is onlky a white line with a black background on the display! I am getting real frustrated as I can't find anything in any on the operation manuals, websites and Sony info on how to get it going again! It does not get recognised on my laptop throught the USB either!! Had we known it was going to be this easy for a kid to........format it then we would have not brought Sony!!!

Hi, you can solve the problem by upgrading (re installing ) the firmware. It is very easy to do. Go to Sony Support web site and download the latest firmware for your MP3. Then follow the instructions to update your firmware.

i dropped mine into water too, and at first I think it's hopeless to cure but i still tried because i just bought it several months ago. i tried to dry it with the hair-dryer for about 15-20 mins. it didn't work well right after but 2 days later, it seemed to be normal again. life still has miracles^^
