How do I get the trunk sensor to shut off on the dash?

Close the trunk.... Just kidding

this might sound odd but it sound like the sensor that sees the trunk as closed is either mis adjusted or faulty.

spray a squirt of penetrating oil like wd40 into the receiver that secures the trunk lid. For example the lid should have a loop or square of metal that when the trunk lid is closed joins with the locking mechanism.

Shoot a a squirt of we 40 into the locking mechanism and see if the light goes out.

Fisher paykel dishdrawer lid will not stay locked

Assuming this is happens with only one drawer - most likely controller is recongising some sensor problems. If the water inlet is faulty then it is waiting for water to get in. Alternatively, the sensor that tells it the drawer is closed suddenly misbehaves and confuses the controller which stops the cycle.

Maytag Neptune L1 code came up. Washer does not seem to be spinning either. What could it be?

When an "L" error code appears, it is normally caused by one of two issues, a faulty lid locking switch, which is designed to hold the lid securely closed during the wash cycle, or a faulty lock solenoid sensor, if bad, this is why it will not spin. good-day !

I have a Maytag Bravo for 1 month and it's showing an error code L id. What does this mean? I have checked everything that I can think of.

First make sure the lid is completely closed, and try running the washer. Because if an "L" appears upon the electronic display area, the lid lock might not be working properly. When an "L" error code appears, it is usually caused by one of two things, a faulty lid locking switch, which holds the lid completely closed during the wash cycle, or a faulty lock solenoid sensor, which displays a warning signal when the lid is not locked securely. If one of these is not working properly, you need to replace the part.

When a load goes to the rinse cycle it the drum won't turn.

For a top loader, a common source of this problem is a defective lid switch. (Check to make sure that the lid is fully closed) Faulty timers, faulty water level sensors, faulty water level selectors can sometimes produce similar results.

The load won't start.

Remove top of machine, you will find lid switch or 'sensor' there. I would say its faulty ,and needs to be replaced.g,luck.rate me
