What chemicals do I need in my intex inflatable hot tub

Hi, according to this site How to Treat Your Hot Tub Best Hot Tub for 2014
First check th pH levels with the pH level checker.That is pretty straightforward and should be included in instructions with your pH checker (which may have come with your hot tub)

It's good to do a chlorine shock once you fill the hot tub with water.

So what will you need?
pH tester/pH tester strips
chlorine
And chemicals for balancing ph ... pH+ and pH- which you will surely find in a shop with pools.
Each of this should come with instructions.
Good luck!

Citrus tree diseases

It could take up to 7 years in some climates to fruit. It's self pollenating but likes a Ph level of 6 to 7.5. Get a soil Ph tester & check your soils Ph levels and maybe fertilize it with a fruit tree fertilizer. That's the best I can tell ya. Hope it helps

Blue water stains in shower

Blue water stains are not caused by hard or soft water. Blue water or bluish green water is caused by the PH of the water. Low PH can corrosion of plumbing (copper lines) causing bluish green water or water high in alkalinity/PH can cause the same issue. Therefore there is no adjustment on the softener to correct this. I suggest a PH test to see what it is. If the PH is 6.5 or lower a calcite filter is recommended to raise the PH.

Where is the heater core on a 91 Chrysler New Yorker and how do I swap it out

Well--

If you pop the hood and look at the firewall there should be two heater hoses that run from the water pump/manifold to the two inlets on the firewall usually on the passenger side. From inside the vehicle, panel removal is necessary and there are probably a couple of bolts. So--the first thing I would do is to find access and a way to get it out before taking any hoses off or draining the radiator. Once you find access, get the new heater core, and have plenty of time you can begin by draining the radiator (in a container), removing the hose clamps on the firewall (label the hoses - top/bottom) and remove the heater core (some times they have putty around the pipes and are often a ****** to get out). Once you have the new one in and the hoses connected refill the coolant system (radiator) with antifreeze and water. NOTE: go to walmart or an autopart store and get a PH tester (Prestone coolant tester) about $3. Read the directions and the recommended level on the PH tester, there are two sides a boil over (265 degrees) and a freeze-up (-34 degrees) add antifreeze and/or water until at recommended levels (tip: buy straight antifreeze not 50/50). Some heater cores are copper and some are aluminum, I have not had problems using tap water on either type but you should use your best judgement.

I hope this helps!

The ph part on my test strips is brite pink why?

pH Scale
Examples of solutions on the pH Scale compared to distilled water are set out below:
  • pH = 0 => Battery Acid which is very strong Hydroflouric Acid
  • pH = 1 => Hydrochloric Acid secreted by stomach lining
  • pH = 2 => Lemon Juice, Gastric Acid, Vinegar
  • pH = 3 => Grapefruit Juice, Orange Juice, Soda
  • pH = 4 => Tomato Juice, Acid Rain
  • pH = 5 => Soft Drinking Water, Black Coffee
  • pH = 6 => *****, Saliva
  • pH = 7 => "Pure" Water
  • pH = 8 => Sea Water
  • pH = 9 => Baking Soda
  • pH = 10 => Great Salt Lake, Milk of Magnesia
  • pH = 11 => Amonia Solution
  • pH = 12 => Soapy Water
  • pH = 13 => Bleach, Oven Cleaner
  • pH = 14 => Liquid Drain Cleaner such as "Draino"

pH Scale Numbers
This scale is logarithmic. It means that each number is 10 times stronger than the preceding number. For example, a pH of 2 is ten times more acidic than a pH of 3 and one hundred times more acidic than a pH of 4. It is important to monitor pH because live depends on it. For instance, human blood is basic with a pH between 7.3 and 7.5. If the pH of blood drops below 7.3, acidosis occurs. If the blood pH rises above 7.5, alkalosis occurs. Death will occur if blood pH goes below 7.0 or above 7.8. Our human existence depends upon a balanced and buffered blood pH.

so u should seek medical attention

Overheating and now engine 'clicking noises.

possible causes of overheating are, dirty cooling system, clogged radiator, bad thermostat. Use only distilled water with a good quality coolant.

still overheating? have your top head checked - warped head, valves, valve seats, etc. You might need to have your engine's compression checked if it is still within specs.
