Question about Kenwood KDC-225MR 200W Car/Marine SIRIUS Ready CD ReceiverKDC-225MR
I am planning to install the original KDC-225MR in my boat so I can use the wired remote. The unit was taken out before I bought the boat but the wired remote was in place. Before I go to the trouble, I am wondering how to access Sirius from this unit. I do not see any Sirius controls on the faceplate and there is no mention of it in the owner's manual
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

PDF Manual at the link below where Page 29 details how to remove the unit..
The only part I find strange is the reference to the M4x8 screw which I wouldn't expect to be fitted as you wouldn't have access.
You may need to purchase are the PC5-106 removal tools as found at the link below.
If you require any further assistance then please just ask.
