Check its main power regulator section circuit for any loose solder terminals. If you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to repair. Whether you suffer fatal electrical shock! Instead, contact the nearest service center.

Have a 95 tacoma run normal when cold starts sputtering when warm

Don't know if this will help or not. I had a 1991 Camry that ran fine until it got warm. Would sputter and stall. I cleaned and messed with the throttle body adjustment until it ran OK. Can't remember what I did but there was some sort of adjustment on the throttle body. Good luck.

Won't start when cold

The cold start valve could need replacing. Also when cold, condensate gets on the wiring causing it to run rough until things warm up. Try covering it up at night. Check your plugs are OK.

Engine won't start until gas is poured into carb throat, then runs OK after warming up. Carb was disasembled and cleaned. Didn't run at all before that.

Check the carb settings, make sure you're not running it too lean under a load.

Kohlers always like to run a little on the rich side, especially if tuned with no load.

Warm it up, tune it, then verify the settings with the deck running

Lean (CW) until is cuts out, rich (CCW) until it loads up, 1/2 way between,

then about a 1/4 turn back to the rich side (CCW). And then recheck idle settings.

Cold starts ok warms up shakes and stalls

check engine coolant temperature when it gets warmer, or at operating temperature, and verify that the temperature gauge is showing warmed up to operating temperature. If the coolant temperature sensor tells the computer the engine is cold it will over fuel and miss and the engine will die. When cooled down it will run fine until it warms up. Also could be coil if it starts missing after warmed up.
