Im trying to find an eyepiece for a Meade model#114EQ-DH telescope.

Most telescopes use a standard fitting eyepiece with a 1.25 inch outside diameter barrel. You can measure the mount where the eyepiece goes to make sure that yours is this size, then search on eBay or Amazon for "1.25 eyepiece" and you will find many available. Some of these will even be made by Meade, but any make will fit.

The other variable will be the focal length of the eyepiece, which is what determines it's power. The power of the scope will be the focal length of the main objective divided by the focal length of the eyepiece, so a 9mm eyepiece will give a higher magnification (and be dimmer and harder to focus and find objects) than a 20mm eyepiece. It is usual to have two or three different focal length eyepieces for viewing different objects.

You will find a large variation in prices, which is partly due to the difference in quality and type of construction of the eyepieces. Kellner eyepieces are simple and cheap, whereas Possl or orthoscopic ones are more complex and cost more. There are reasons why people will pay more for the better eyepieces.

I need to find an Eyepiece for my grandsons TeleStar 60AZ-A

Most telescopes use a standard size for eyepieces (one and a quarter inches outside diameter) and if that is the size of the mount in your scope, you can use any that fit. If you do a search on Amazon, you will find hundreds in this size, many of them branded Meade. The other dimension specified will be focal length. 5mm will give high magnification (but dimmer and harder to use) while 20mm will give lower magnification with brighter image and less fiddly focus.

I need to purchase the meade polaris model # 60az-d eye pieces that you use to look through the telescope.

You need to purchase .965 diameter eyepieces. 700mm ( focal length of scope)/ eyepiece focal length=magnification. Maximum power of a 60mm scope is about 225x (under perfect conditions)
I would get a 25mm 700/25=28x for low power see link below
http://cgi.ebay.com/Meade-MA25-25mm-965-telescope-eyepiece-NEW-/230542978572?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35ad6eae0c
and then for higher power 700/8=87.5x
http://cgi.ebay.com/Astro-Optics-8mm-Deluxe-965-Telescope-Eyepiece-/230543763551?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35ad7aa85f
There are not many options with .965 eyepieces I would get a .965 to 1.25 adapter or .965 to 1.25 hybrid diagonal. That way you have more options on better eyepieces and the 1.25 eyepieces can be used for better telescopes in the future.

Rented home in NC mtns for a week, came equipped with Meade Telestar 114AZ telescope but don't even know how to start!!! I mean, do I ''turn it on'' or what? Help...always wanted to take a closer look at...

You may want to check with the owner; those white things, are most likely the eyepieces that are used in the telescope. Start with ones that are the lowest power (longest focal length) until you get used to it. The small side telescope is the finder, and will help get objects into view in the main telescope, assuming the cross hairs are aligned.
