Run the keurig with vinegar instead of water. Then run it 5 times with only water just to remove the vinegar taste. Do this once a month. Also there are pins that pokes holes on top and bottom of coffee kcups, find the pins and clean it by unclogging with paperclips or some thinner wire.

SOURCE: When making a cup of coffee, half the water flows

When the water comes back through the vent, it usually means that the TOP needle may be plugged with coffee grounds.

Unplug the coffee maker.

Lift up on the silver handle, and look inside. You will see a silver needle (similar to the one in the bottom of the K-cup holder). With a round seal surrounding it.

Straighten out a paper clip and run the clip through the center of the needle, and rotate it, then pull the clip out.

Plug the unit back in, and wait until it is ready.

Remove the K-cup holder, and run only water through the unit, as if you are making a cup of coffee.

You will see some grounds in the coffee cup, if the needle was plugged with grounds.

If this doesn't fix it, call customer service, the unit may be bad.

SOURCE: my k cup reusable coffee

I had the same issue and found a **** fix that is working well. The issue is that the hole in the my-kcup doesn't seal to the machine so I take a square of foil and put it over the top of the closed my-kcup assembly, crimping it under the rim of the cap. This seals the assembly and forces the water through the my-kcup. It also makes a better cup of coffee because the water is all going through the grounds.

Depends on the type of coffee machine, but with a normal pour and drip machine, you swing the water nozzle away from the filter cup so that the water goes back to the reservoir where you pour the water in. Mix CLR to the recommended strength and run the coffee machine for about 20 minutes recycling the water the descale solution. Then carefully swing the nozzle back over the filter holder. Run three normal cycles with fresh water and that's it.

For fixed and plumbed in coffee makers, there is a tank that you fill with descaler and a lever that cuts off incoming water and takes it from the tank. You would need to refer to the maker's instructions.

On a free flow machine, you can just make enough solution to fill the tank and run it. Then rinse with fresh three times.

How do I fix a leaking Bunn Coffeemaker model NHBX-B?

This is a home model pour over. Overfilling is the most common cause of leakage as there is no plumbed in water line. You should only pour in the amount indicated on the decanter. If it is overflowing, check if you have the right decanter as someone may have used an old pot from a larger brewer. Say there was a 12 cup pot around and now you have a 10 cup brewer.
* carefully pour water to the inner fill line. You will probably see a ledge or spill off hole on the inside of the fill tank. Some units will spill out the back, others may spill back into the drip funnel. Note at what point you get near the spill level and note how much is left in the decanter. The amount left is your over flow.
* If you want more accuracy then use a measuring cup and count how many cups are needed to fill the brewer.
* Unplug any brewer that has water coming from the base. Dry up the area and drain the brewer. Dry off and let sit to completely dry out. Refill, note any leaks? If okay then plug in and brew as normal.
* still having problems? Contact your vendor for service.,

When the tank is removed from the machine water will drain from the tank if the valve is pressed but water won't drain from the tank into the heating unit.

Sounds like either an alignment or a gasket issue. Is the water released from the tank by the same valve? If so, check whatever is in the machine that pushes against that valve. Maybe a part fell off or is jammed.

I suggest you use vinegar acid.

You need a solution with half part water and half part vinegar acid.

1) pour 4 cups of water into your coffee machines water tank.

2) pour 4 cups of vinegar acid into your coffee machines water tank.

3) turn on your coffee machine to decalc.

4) refill tank with clean cold water and let it run through ( 2 times)

If you pour water into acid it can explode and make terrible damages and cause chemical burns!!!

Hope this will help ypu

You can't. This model does not have a drain, and the water will stay in the inner tank forever!

If you plan on storing the brewer for a length of time, make sure you run several cycles (without k cups) before using it again.

According to Keurig, water remaining in the tank will not damage the brewer nor cause any mold to form due to it's stainless steel inner tank.

Sorry for your troubles, and hope this helps! Happy Brewing!

How empty inner water tank

You must first empty the water reservoir. There is a black disk inside the tank. This disk moves up and down. Place your hand inside the tank and hold the disk up. This will stimulate the tank being "full" of water. Then continue on as if you were brewing a cup of coffee. This will brew the remaining water left in your inner tank. May need to do this twice to ensure all the water is gone. Hope this was helpful.
